Dr. Anne Zahn has worked as an educator for the past 20 years. She has previously worked as a middle school mathematics and science teacher, a gifted and enrichment coordinator, an adjunct professor, an elementary curriculum coach, a district coordinator for STEM, director of the Waukegan EIR grant, and most recently the assistant principal at Lyon Magnet School. 

Dr. Zahn received her bachelor’s degree in Biological Science with a minor in Mathematics and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Loyola University Chicago. An Educational Specialist degree and administrative credentials from National Louis University, a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Western Illinois University, and a CSBO endorsement from Northern Illinois University.
When not working with the students and teachers at Lyon Magnet School you can find her in her garden, open water swimming, or out on the trails cycling or cross-country skiing.
